Plans have long existed to road diet Grand Boulevard from 3rd St to it’s Main St intersection past Crown Center, yet progress has not been evident.

New Grand Blvd bridge over 670 opened last weekend, with bike lanes (protected on the west side). The bridge was immediately shut down the day the streetcar opened in May, after an inspection. Rather quick turnaround, unfortunately there has been no such progress on bike lanes for the rest of Grand.
