Officials have delayed a hearing on incentives for a $197 million high-rise project in Downtown after the developer changed its incentive request from what had been considered in a third-party analysis.

A new timeline submitted by Lux with its TIF request calls for 14 Wyandotte to complete city approvals in the first quarter and then complete design work and financial closing in the fourth quarter. Construction then would begin in early 2025 and run through late 2027.

Hotel is anticipated to be a Kimpton flag.

Red Oak Capital Holdings is selling the land. Lux likely had an option on the land that is unlikely to come to fruition given their growing number of issues as a firm.
